An ace performance by Andrew Thurman carried the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (19-12) to a 3-0 win over the Falmouth Commodores (14-18) on Sunday at Red Wilson Field.

Thurman's 13 strikeouts helped the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox to the victory. The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox's pitcher tossed nine innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

Sean Dwyer had two extra-base hits for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.
