Sean Manaea hopes every outing could go as well as Thursday, as Manaea threw seven scoreless innings to carry the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (12-18) to a 4-1 victory over the Falmouth Commodores (14-17) at McKeon Park.
Blake Austin paced the Hyannis Harbor Hawks at the plate. Austin went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the second inning and homered in the eighth inning.
Despite the loss, the Falmouth Commodores' Trey Masek dominated the Hyannis Harbor Hawks' batters, giving up two runs and striking out 11.
Masek was charged with his second loss of the year.
