Chad Pinder hit two home runs to carry the Chatham Anglers (15-12) to a 9-4 win over the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (10-17) at Veterans Field.
Brandon Trinkwon was solid at the plate for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. Trinkwon went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the first inning and singled in the seventh and ninth innings.
Thomas Lawrence got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed three runs over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out six, walked none and surrendered nine hits.
Tyler Barnette (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out two.
The Chatham Anglers were sparked by Pinder and Michael Fransoso, who teamed up for five hits and five RBIs.
