Reed kept the Brewster Whitecaps off the board during his seven innings of work. Reed struck out eight and allowed no walks and four hits.
The Brewster Whitecaps found themselves down in the eighth inning but managed to fight back and claim the win.
Austin Voth handled the Harwich Mariners' lineup with ease, racking up 11 strikeouts. Voth allowed two earned runs, three hits and one walk over six innings.
James Leckenby got the win, running his season record to 3-1. Leckenby struck out three, walked two and gave up one hit.
CK Irby (1-2) took the loss for the Harwich Mariners. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed no runs.
