The Brewster Whitecaps (6-10) shut the door early on the Harwich Mariners (12-4), capturing an 8-2 victory on Tuesday at Stony Brook.

An RBI single by Trevor Mitsui, a three-run home run by Ryon Healy, and an RBI double by Dan Olinger during the first inning and a wild pitch in the second inning helped the Brewster Whitecaps put some runs on the board early.
