The Gateway Grizzlies (51-36) pounded the Windy City ThunderBolts (49-38) on Wednesday 7-1 at Standard Bank Stadium.

The Gateway Grizzlies scored three runs in the ninth on a two-run single by Landon Hernandez and an RBI single by Antone DeJesus.

John Shelby racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Gateway Grizzlies. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

The Windy City ThunderBolts couldn't get anything going so long as Paul Tremlin was on the hill. The Windy City ThunderBolts managed just one hit off of Tremlin, who allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out six during his seven innings of work.

Blayne Weller (5-3) took the loss for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
