Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Tuesday as the Southern Illinois Miners (36-24) outscored the Normal CornBelters (18-41) 10-8 in 11 innings.

The teams totaled 24 hits in the game.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the eleventh, with seven lead changes.

Ross Davis recorded his first win of the year for the Southern Illinois Miners. Davis struck out three, walked none and gave up two hits.

Josh Joseph (1-3) took the loss for the Normal CornBelters. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.

The Southern Illinois Miners' Alvaro Ramirez, Will Block and Ken Gregory combined for seven hits and six RBIs.
