Great game from the Gateway Grizzlies' Kaminsky not enough in 2-1 loss to the Evansville Otters

The Gateway Grizzlies (48-34) couldn't capitalize on a great day from Alex Kaminsky on Friday, losing 2-1 to the Evansville Otters (37-44) in 11 innings at Bosse Field.

Kaminsky baffled the Evansville Otters, striking out 10 batters. The Gateway Grizzlies' pitcher gave up just four hits over seven shutout innings.

Eric Massingham recorded his fourth win of the year for the Evansville Otters. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered no hits.

Brett Kennedy ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
