A walk-off error from Michael Thomas brought home the winning run for the Danbury Westerners (10-13) in a 4-3 victory over the Holyoke Blue Sox (9-12) at Rogers Park on Monday.

Daniel Spingola had two extra-base hits for the Danbury Westerners. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Brett Houseal picked up the win for the Danbury Westerners. Houseal allowed three earned runs, eight hits and two walks while striking out six over nine innings of work.

Tyler Westensee ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
