The Klamath Falls Gems (24-25) pounded the Bend Elks (22-27) on Saturday 11-3 at Kiger Stadium.

The Klamath Falls Gems scored four runs in the fourth on a solo home run by Austin Byler, , an RBI double by Kevin Davidson, an RBI single by Joshua Graham, and a single by Nick Rulli.

Tyler Smith boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Klamath Falls Gems. He doubled in the second and sixth innings and singled in the seventh innings.

The Bend Elks were led by Will Sparks's hitting. Sparks went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

Dalton Douty recorded his second win of the year for the Klamath Falls Gems. He allowed three runs over five innings. Douty struck out one, walked none and gave up six hits.

Michael Dingilian was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
