The Bend Elks (14-14) built an early edge on Sunday, but the Wenatchee AppleSox (21-8) roared back to steal a 5-3 victory at Vince Genna Stadium.

Daniel Chavez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
