A walk-off single from Kevin Davidson brought home the winning run for the Klamath Falls Gems (4-18) in an 8-7 victory over the Kelowna Falcons (13-6) in 13 innings at Kiger Stadium on Friday.

Davidson had a hot bat for the Klamath Falls Gems. Davidson went 1-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the thirteenth inning.

Greg Friesen rocked the Klamath Falls Gems with two home runs. Friesen went 3-6 in the game with three RBIs and three runs scored. Friesen homered in the second and thirteenth innings.

Jake Whisler racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Klamath Falls Gems. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Eric Yardley recorded his first win of the year for the Klamath Falls Gems. He allowed two runs over three innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered five hits.

Juan Padilla couldn't get it done on the hill for the Kelowna Falcons, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
