The Wenatchee AppleSox (12-3) beat the Bend Elks 8-1 on Tuesday thanks to a five-run eighth inning.

Trevor Lubking struck out six hitters en route to the the Wenatchee AppleSox win. Lubking allowed no earned runs on three hits and three walks over six innings.

Clay Bauer (0-2) took the loss for the Bend Elks (7-5). He lasted just four innings, walked six, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
