The Palm Beach Xtreme (5-6) and the Delray Beach Lightning (7-3) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Palm Beach Xtreme that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-0 win.

Francisco Arias had an impressive outing against the Delray Beach Lightning's lineup. Arias held the Delray Beach Lightning hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out seven.

The Palm Beach Xtreme couldn't get anything going as long as Noah Latshaw was pitching. Latshaw held the Palm Beach Xtreme hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Bryan Garcia improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Palm Beach Xtreme. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered two hits.

Andreas Papageorge ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
