Cale Hennemann knocked in three runs, helping the Springfield Sliders (10-7) to a 5-2 victory over the DuPage Drones (9-9) on Thursday at Benedictine Sports Complex.

Jose Marin baffled the DuPage Drones, striking out 10 batters. Marin allowed no earned runs on two hits and four walks over 5 2/3 innings.

Despite the loss, the DuPage Drones' Kyle Huckaby dominated the Springfield Sliders' batters, giving up one run and striking out six.

Jake Roehn recorded his first win of the year for the Springfield Sliders. Roehn struck out four, walked none and gave up three hits.

Zak Devermann (0-1) took the loss for the DuPage Drones. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
