The Jamestown Jammers (23-18) had a tough outing on Thursday, as the Elmira Pioneers (28-11) dominated in a 13-6 win at Diethrick Park.

The Elmira Pioneers scored four runs in the fifth on the Elmira Pioneers scored in the fifth on a two-run error, a double by Connor Burns, a hit by pitch, an RBI single by Isaiah Lewis, and a single by Storm Wilson.

Burns racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Elmira Pioneers.

Danny Madden brought the heat against the Jamestown Jammers during his outing. Madden held the Jamestown Jammers hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three.

CJ Pickering got on base two times in the game for the Jamestown Jammers. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He tripled in the second inning.

Marc Galvan improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Elmira Pioneers. He allowed three runs over five innings. Galvan struck out three, walked five and gave up four hits.

Mike Wilcox (2-2) took the loss for the Jamestown Jammers. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked two and struck out two.
