The Elmira Pioneers cruise past the Jamestown Jammers, 13-6

The Jamestown Jammers (23-18) had a tough outing on Thursday, as the Elmira Pioneers (28-11) dominated in a 13-6 win at Diethrick Park.

The Elmira Pioneers scored four runs in the fifth on the Elmira Pioneers scored in the fifth on a two-run error, a double by Connor Burns, a hit by pitch, an RBI single by Isaiah Lewis, and a single by Storm Wilson.

Marc Galvan improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Elmira Pioneers. He allowed three runs over five innings. Galvan struck out three, walked five and gave up four hits.

Mike Wilcox (2-2) took the loss for the Jamestown Jammers. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked two and struck out two.
