Mac Crispino collected three hits, sparking the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs (12-12) to a 4-3 victory over the Albany Dutchmen (13-12) on Monday at Veterans Memorial Park.
He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.Zachary Vennaro put together a nice outing. Vennaro held the Albany Dutchmen hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.
JJ Shimko paced the Albany Dutchmen at the plate. Shimko went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the eighth inning.
