The Newark Pilots (14-9) and the Adirondack Trail Blazers (5-16) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Newark Pilots that eventually took advantage of them in a 2-1 win at Colburn Park.

Loukas Bechakas put together a nice outing. Bechakas held the Adirondack Trail Blazers hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Quinton Logan recorded his second win of the year for the Newark Pilots. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Josh Partridge (1-3) took the loss for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
