A walk-off solo home run from Dan Maynard brought home the winning run for the Amsterdam Mohawks (8-5) in a 7-6 victory over the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs in 10 innings at Shuttleworth Park on Friday.

Tyler Frank racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Amsterdam Mohawks. He doubled in the fifth innings and singled in the eighth inning.

Tim Naughton improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Amsterdam Mohawks. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered no hits.

Jon Sell ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
