The Glens Falls Dragons (2-6) beat the Amsterdam Mohawks (4-4) 6-5 on Friday at Shuttleworth Park behind Robbie Knightes, who had two extra base hits.

Despite the loss, the Amsterdam Mohawks' Paul Milto dominated the Glens Falls Dragons' batters, giving up one run and striking out five.

Tyler Ratliff racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Amsterdam Mohawks. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Joe Jones recorded his first win of the year for the Glens Falls Dragons. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Jones struck out five, walked four and gave up 10 hits.

Derek Balbierz was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

The Glens Falls Dragons were sparked by Knightes and Hunter Szaflarski, who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.
