Thursday was a great day for Andrew Sipowicz, as Sipowicz threw six scoreless innings to carry the Elmira Pioneers (5-4) to a 6-4 victory over the Adirondack Trail Blazers at Robert Smith Sports Complex .

Rob Perteet reached base four times in the game for the Elmira Pioneers. He tripled in the sixth inning and singled in the seventh and eighth innings.
