He singled in the first and eighth innings and doubled in the third and ninth innings.Colin Johnston picked up the win for the Victor RailRiders. Johnston allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out three over six innings of work.
It was a good day at the plate for the Newark Pilots' Luke Reynolds. Reynolds went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the first inning.
The Victor RailRiders couldn't get anything going so long as Xan Reese was on the hill. The Victor RailRiders managed just one hit off of Reese, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his three innings of work.
Russ Olive ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
