A five-run explosion in the second inning carried the Victor RailRiders (4-2) to a 9-0 win over the Adirondack Trail Blazers at Robert Smith Sports Complex on Thursday.

The Victor RailRiders scored in the second on a three-run error, a double by Keyshawn DOrso, , a double by Dylan Cruther, and a groundout by Nathan Koslowski.

Koslowski racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Victor RailRiders.

Brennen Smith pitched lights out for the Victor RailRiders. The Adirondack Trail Blazers (2-6) managed just two hits off of Smith, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out six during his four innings of work.

Jarrod Bellinger ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked two and struck out one.
