Katie Barron powered the North Idaho (34-11) at the plate and on the bump Friday, willing the North Idaho to a 8-0 victory over the Shoreline.

Barron racked up three RBIs on two hits for the North Idaho. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Barron brought the heat against the Shoreline (16-17) during his outing. The Shoreline managed just one hit off of Barron, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his four innings of work.

Everything was working at the plate for the the North Idaho in the fourth. The Shoreline had no answer as the North Idaho scored seven runs. The North Idaho scored in the fourth on an RBI single by Emma Lallas, a two-run double by Barron, , a two-run single by Kekuulani Haake, and an error.

Kathryn Goff was charged with his ninth loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
