A five-run explosion in the sixth inning hoisted the Olympic (19-21) to a 9-3 win in seven innings over the Highline (9-29) at Highline on Tuesday.
The Olympic scored in the sixth on a groundout by Amanda Lyyski, a two-run double by Tiffani Ferrell, a solo home run by Bethany Balucan-Batangan, a double by Kaitlin Oberg, and a single by Samantha Gorham.
Balucan-Batangan racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Olympic.
Rachel Ranyak got the win, running his season record to 11-3. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Ranyak struck out one, walked one and gave up eight hits.
Stefani Gollin (4-10) took the loss for the Highline. He allowed nine runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out two.
