The Columbia Basin (27-15) had a tough outing on Sunday, as the North Idaho (29-9) dominated in a 9-1 win in seven innings.

The North Idaho scored three runs in the seventh on the North Idaho scored in the seventh on a two-run double by Chloe McIntosh and a groundout by Abby Howard.

McIntosh had three extra-base hits for the North Idaho.

The North Idaho relied on Amber Hawkes to eat up innings en route to the win. Hawkes pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out five.

Kayla Andrews (23-7) took the loss for the Columbia Basin. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked three and struck out two.

Howard, Hawkes, Lexi Courtney and McIntosh helped lead the North Idaho. They combined for 10 hits and eight RBIs.
