An outstanding effort by Ryan Retz carried the Tucson Saguaros (44-13) to a 20-5 win over the Santa Fe Fuego (15-43) on Tuesday at Fort Marcy Park.

Retz hit two home runs for the Tucson Saguaros. Retz went 5-6 in the game with four RBIs and four runs scored. Retz homered in the first and third innings.

The Tucson Saguaros didn't let up, as they kept racking up runs until the end. The Tucson Saguaros scored four runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win. The Tucson Saguaros scored six runs in the first on the Tucson Saguaros scored in the first on a two-run home run by Retz, a solo home run by Jimmy Heck, and a three-run home run by Tommy Lyons.

Steven Borkowski's nine strikeouts were enough to push the Tucson Saguaros past the Santa Fe Fuego. Borkowski allowed two earned runs on six hits and two walks over seven innings.

The Tucson Saguaros easily handled the Santa Fe Fuego pitching as seven hitters combined for 19 hits, 18 RBIs and 19 runs scored.

Anthony Garcia was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 16 runs in six innings, walked four and struck out one.
