Webb stars as the Roswell Invaders defeat the Santa Fe Fuego, 24-13

A magnificent effort by Bobby Webb carried the Roswell Invaders (37-16) to a 24-13 win over the Santa Fe Fuego (15-38) on Thursday at Fort Marcy Park.

Webb rocked the Santa Fe Fuego with two home runs. Webb went 3-6 in the game with five RBIs and four runs scored. Webb homered in the first and second innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 37 total runs and 41 hits during the game. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were nine pitchers used in the game.

The Roswell Invaders blew out the Santa Fe Fuego thanks to 25 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Roswell Invaders hammered the Santa Fe Fuego pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 20 hits, 23 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
