Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Wednesday as the Trinidad Triggers (30-25) outscored the Roswell Invaders (40-16) 10-9.
The two teams combined for 24 hits in the game.
The Trinidad Triggers were led by Edmund Cheatham's hitting. Cheatham went 2-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He tripled in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.
Thomas Huddleston couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Roswell Invaders, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
