The White Sands Pupfish (21-28) beat the Santa Fe Fuego (10-35) 8-3 on Monday at Fort Marcy Park behind Joe Borowski, who knocked in three runs.

Anthony Pastrana's seven strikeouts were enough to push the White Sands Pupfish past the Santa Fe Fuego. Pastrana allowed no earned runs, five hits and two walks over six innings.

Matt Haskins racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Santa Fe Fuego. He singled in the first and fifth innings and homered in the seventh inning.

Ryan Harper ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his seventh loss of the year. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out three.
