Early lead gives the Trinidad Triggers easy victory over the Great Bend Boom, 13-2

The Trinidad Triggers (21-14) jumped out to an early lead on the Great Bend Boom (13-16) and captured a 13-2 victory on Monday at Central Park.

Seven runs in the first three innings allowed the Trinidad Triggers to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Christopher Buitron, a wild pitch, a wild pitch, and a passed ball during the first inning and a groundout by Trevor Sealey in the second inning helped the Trinidad Triggers put some runs on the board early.

Brian Frazier racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Christian Schneider picked up the win for the Trinidad Triggers. Schneider allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out three over six innings of work.

Tevin Padgett put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Great Bend Boom. He doubled in the third inning.
