The Linfield JV came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 7-2 ballgame against the Clark (13-18) on Tuesday at Linfield.

While the Linfield JV led until the fifth inning, the Clark worked their way back and took the lead on a sacrifice fly by Brandon Zimmerman.

Zimmerman racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Clark. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Cameron Sommer improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Clark. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Walker couldn't get it done on the mound for the Linfield JV, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in nine innings, walked two and struck out six.
