Kayla Byers kept the Highline (7-19) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Mt. Hood (18-7) beat the Highline, 6-0.

Byers struck out seven and allowed one walk and four hits.

The Mt. Hood blew out the Highline thanks to six hits, including zero extra base hits. The Mt. Hood scored two runs in the sixth on the Mt. Hood scored in the sixth on a solo home run by Sammie Byron and an error.

Byron paced the Mt. Hood at the plate. Byron went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run.

Kayla Higa was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
