The SW Oregon (19-8) beat the Pierce (12-17) 15-3 in five innings on Sunday at Kiwanis after an eight-run explosion in the second inning.

The SW Oregon scored in the second on an RBI single by Caitlyn Messman, a two-run double by Danielle Crocket, , a sacrifice fly by Brandi Bowling, an RBI double by Tayler Moss, an RBI single by Natalie Spencer, and an RBI single by Katelyn Rossback.

Crocket racked up four RBIs on three hits for the SW Oregon.

Lauren Spencer improved to 9-5 on the year by picking up the win for the SW Oregon. He allowed three runs over four innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Jessilyn Enlow (5-8) took the loss for the Pierce. He allowed nine runs in three innings, walked four and struck out none.

The SW Oregon easily handled the Pierce pitching as six hitters combined for 15 hits, 11 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
