Writer racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wenatchee Valley.
Karly Malcolm brought the heat against the Everett (11-12) during his outing. The Everett managed just one hit off of Malcolm, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his five innings of work.
Scarlett Nyenhuis (3-5) took the loss for the Everett. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked four and struck out three.
