Katie Barron both hit and pitched well for the North Idaho (19-9), but it wasn't enough as the North Idaho fell to the Clackamas 3-2 at Kiwanis on Sunday.

Barron was hot from the plate for the North Idaho. Barron went 2-3. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Barron handled the Clackamas (22-7)'s lineup with ease, racking up nine strikeouts. Barron allowed one earned run on four hits and four walks over 6 2/3 innings.

Emily Marchbanks picked up the win for the Clackamas. Marchbanks allowed one earned run, three hits and five walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Barron was charged with his fourth loss of the year.
