The Spokane (17-13) and the Mt. Hood (17-7) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Spokane capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 9-6 win at Gateway Complex.
Kylee Andreason went a perfect 4-4 at the plate for the Spokane. He singled in the second, third, fifth, and sixth innings.
Kayla Byers racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Mt. Hood. He singled in the first and third innings.
Gabby Juarez got his first win for the Spokane despite allowing six runs over seven innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered 13 hits.
Byers (5-2) took the loss for the Mt. Hood. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.
