The SW Oregon (17-6) beat the Skagit Valley (4-8) 11-0 in five innings on Saturday at Kiwanis after a six-run explosion in the third inning.
The SW Oregon scored in the third on an RBI single by Tayler Moss, a two-run triple by Danielle Crocket, a sacrifice fly by Tayler Finch, an RBI double by Bobbi Bertsch, and an RBI double by Shevan DeFreitas.
Moss racked up four RBIs on two hits for the SW Oregon.
The Skagit Valley had no answer for Alexis Pike-Altona, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Skagit Valley managed just two hits off of the the SW Oregon's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his four innings of work.
Mallory Kruzich was charged with his seventh loss of the year. He allowed 11 runs in four innings, walked one and struck out two.
