The Walla Walla (11-11) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Big Bend (6-14), recording a 14-3 victory on Friday at Big Bend Complex.

Seven runs in the first three innings allowed the Walla Walla to put the game away early.

An error, an RBI single by Mikayla Faulker, , a two-run double by Kelsey Butterfield, and a two-run single by Ashley Hicks in the first inning and a two-run double by Erin Ware during the second inning fueled the Walla Walla's offense early.

Mallory Chavez recorded his fifth win of the year for the Walla Walla. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered six hits.

Olivia Harrison (2-6) took the loss for the Big Bend. He allowed 11 runs in one inning, walked none and struck out one.
