Carolyn Thoveson kept the College of Lake County off the board during his five innings of work and the Douglas (7-3) beat the College of Lake County, 21-6.

Thoveson allowed four hits, one walk and struck out one.

The Douglas didn't let up, as they kept racking up runs until the end. The Douglas scored eight runs in the last one innings to finish off the blowout win.
