The Yakima Valley (1-12) had a tough outing on Friday, as the Big Bend (4-7) dominated in a 12-4 win in five innings at Big Bend Complex.

A home run by Pashence Korten helped the Big Bend score four runs in the fourth. The Big Bend had two hits in the inning.

Korten racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Big Bend.

Kathy Cousins racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Yakima Valley. He homered in the second inning.

Olivia Harrison got the win, running his season record to 1-2. He allowed four runs over five innings. Harrison struck out three, walked four and gave up five hits.

Beth Anderson was charged with his seventh loss of the year. He allowed 12 runs in four innings, walked five and struck out one.
