Vincent Molesky hopes every outing could go as well as Tuesday, as Molesky tossed a shutout to carry the Gateway Grizzlies (28-29) to a 3-0 victory over the Traverse City Beach Bums at Wuerfel Park.

Molesky racked up 11 strikeouts in the the Gateway Grizzlies win. The Gateway Grizzlies' pitcher gave up just seven hits over nine shutout innings.

Tucker Simpson couldn't get it done on the mound for the Traverse City Beach Bums (23-32), taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
