The SW Oregon take out the Everett with help from Pike-Altona, 5-2

The SW Oregon (14-2) beat the Everett (3-5) 5-2 in seven innings on Saturday at VGSA Vancouver WA behind Alexis Pike-Altona, who collected three hits.

He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Lauren Spencer struck out 10, paving the way for a the SW Oregon win. Spencer allowed two earned runs on five hits and three walks over seven innings.

Cherise Shaver went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Everett. He singled in the first, second, and fifth innings.

Rylee Thomas (1-2) took the loss for the Everett. He lasted just seven innings, walked four, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
