Andy Arruda went 2-2, sparking the Linn-Benton (4-2) to a 7-3 victory in seven innings over the Skagit Valley (0-6) on Sunday at David Story Field.

A bright spot for the Skagit Valley in the defeat was Joe Done, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.

David Wallum improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Linn-Benton. He allowed three runs over four innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered four hits.

Chase Olson was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
