Writer allowed one earned run, eight hits and no walks while striking out four over six innings of work.

McKenna Gagner was solid at the plate for the Pierce. Gagner went 2-3 and drove in one. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the sixth inning.

Anna Lennox picked up the win for the Pierce (1-3). Lennox pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, seven hits and three walks while striking out three.

Writer couldn't get it done on the hill for the Wenatchee Valley, taking a loss.
