Chloe McIntosh had two extra base hits, sparking the North Idaho (6-2) to a 4-3 victory in seven innings over the Centralia (6-2) on Sunday at CBC Softball Field.
He homered in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.Emily Benton was hot from the plate for the Centralia. Benton went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the second, fourth, and fifth innings.
Katie Barron improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the North Idaho. He allowed two runs over four innings. Barron struck out three, walked four and gave up four hits.
Kierstin Smith was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked four, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
