The Edmonds (3-1) shut the door early on the Treasure Valley (1-3), capturing a 19-2 victory on Sunday.

Twelve runs in the first three innings allowed the Edmonds to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Paige Matsuki, a two-run double by Tia Hedman, , an error, a two-run single by Kristina West, and a two-run triple by KamrynMae Kanae during the first inning helped the Edmonds put some runs on the board early.

Matsuki racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Edmonds.

Hailey Malakowski improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Edmonds. He allowed two runs over four innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered five hits.

Francesca Rodriquez was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 14 runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out none.
