Hannah Rothwell had two extra base hits as the Lower Columbia (23-5) took home an 8-3 victory over the Pierce (11-15) in seven innings at Heritage Recreation Center on Friday.
He tripled in the third inning and homered in the seventh innings.Kailey Nobriga went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Pierce. He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings.
Bailey Ellis recorded his fourth win of the year for the Lower Columbia. He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered nine hits.
Bailee Bradley was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in seven innings, walked three and struck out three.
The Lower Columbia's Ashley Kelly, Nicole Bolasky, Rothwell and Mariah Mendez combined for eight hits and seven RBIs.
