The Spokane (4-0) jumped out to an early lead on the Olympic (0-4) and captured an 18-0 victory on Saturday at Columbia Playfields.

With 10 runs in the first three innings, the Spokane left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An error, an RBI single by Kylee Andreason, a single by Andreason, an RBI single by Courtney Kent, a three-run error, a groundout by Courtney Adams, a double by Hayley Pace, an RBI single by Ashlynn Bocook, and a groundout by Andreason in the first inning and and a double by Adams during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Spokane.

Kent racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Spokane.

Makenzie Norwill held the Olympic scoreless during his five innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on three hits while ringing up two.

Amanda Lyyski was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 15 runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out two.

The Spokane pounded the Olympic pitching, as seven hitters combined for 15 hits, 13 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
