The Walla Walla scored in the first on an RBI single by Mikayla Faulkner, an RBI single by Faulkner, a two-run single by Erin Ware, an RBI double by Deven Chadler, and an RBI double by Chadler.
Faulkner had three extra-base hits for the Walla Walla.
Mallory Chavez improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Walla Walla. He allowed two runs over five innings. Chavez struck out three, walked one and gave up five hits.
Alyssa Satteson couldn't get it done on the mound for the Grays Harbor, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
The Walla Walla were sparked by Faulkner and Ware, who teamed up for six hits and six RBIs.
